An intricate statement of Irish craft and visual harmony, the Kaleidoscope Silk Scarf brings the world of TIDINGS and TED 1942 together in stunning circular detail.

Hand-painted by designer Niamh Gillespie, the design radiates outwards from an iconic Georgian fanlight medallion into mesmerizing concentric rings of Irish heritage emblems: equestrian stirrups and horse motifs, native ferns, lucky shamrocks, and golden lion-head door knockers, all framed by a rich heritage green border.

Spun from 100% pure silk twill, the generous 90 cm × 90 cm square drapes effortlessly over the shoulders, wraps into an elegant neck foulard, or styles as a chic headscarf.

Inspired by a long walk along the beach on the east coast of Ireland, Tidings Creative Director Niamh Gillespie came across an old message in a bottle. A dispatch sent from another place, an-other time, brought in by the tide. Niamh was moved to create her own messages. To tell stories with silk.
